My birthday was on the 21st of December, as it is every year. This particular year I turned 16, it is impossible to predict how old I will turn next year but I suspect it may be 129. Anyway, the day before my birthday (A.K.A Birhtday Eve), me and several friends went to the pancake parlour and the movies to celebrate... And because I wanted pancakes. Alannah dressed creepily, as usual, and I said "Ahh!" when me and mum picked her up. Then we drove to... Oh wait - I forgot part of the day - *flashback*
So on the 20th at three O'clock I went to donut king to do my trial thingy. I got to make milkshakes which was cool, it was hard though because t was the end of the day and the flavour wouldn't come out when I pushed the pump bit because there wasn't enough flavour in them. Two random events that occured whilst I was at donut king are: 1. A guy wanted a bottle of water, and my supervisor was doing something so she told me to grab it for him, then she pressed the buttons on the cash register so that I could put the money in and give the guy his change. Then the guy left and I closed the register and a girl came up and asked me for a few billion things and I freaked out because I had no idea hwo to put them into the register and I forgot the first things once she said the second things. Luckily the manager person came up and made the girl say it again and she got her the stuff.... And the second random thing that happened is that when we were cleaning everything and closing the shop a kid was at the counter, the manager told me to ask im what he wanted and that we were only selling donuts now - everything else had been cleaned. I asked the kid if he wanted anything and he said, "I'm just watching." I thought it was a bit weird, the manager asked me what he wanted and i told her and she said, "Fair enough." *un flashback*
Ok, so back to later that day. We drove to the place were we were going and hung around for a while until all the other friends got there. My buddies gave me heaps of cool stuff! From Alannah I got money, from Lisa a giant spongebob toy, from Alina a unicorn that reminds me of my little ponies for some weird reason, from Rachel I got chocies (yummm, from Cassie I got a necklace and a pretty butterfly thing that I hung on a metal grid thing under my bed thats above my desk - I hang heaps of stuff and trinkets there. Aaaannnnddd from Elaine I got a singing frog, it sings 'I like to move it." and dances its cooooooooooooolllllll!! We ate pancakes at the pancake parlour and then we went to the movies and saw 'The prestige' it was really good, it had heaps of twists in the plot and you were never really sure which guy was the bad guy and who you were supposed to be rooting for. Random parts of the movie that stuck in my memory are; the character played by Hugh Jackman cloned himself 100 times and drowned his clone or himself (because not even he knew that whether it was his clone or if it where him that drowned)everytime, and that the other character had a twin brother and one twin had to cut off some fingers so that they looked the same.
We got home a little while after midnight and I went to sleep. The next day I was woken up at seven am!!!!! Normally this would annoy me but the wakers brough presents for me, the wakee! My sister gave me two Eoin Colfer books and the Sims 2 Pets expansion pack!!!!!!! Yay sims pets!!! And Artemis Fowl!!!! She knows me to well. :D. My mum and dad got me a heart locket its a plain silver heart on an angle its really nice. and they also gave me a fancy jewlery box and money. Mum had to work on my birthday, and it was a week day so obviously dad was working too. So Me and Katharine alternated playing the Sims 2 Pets. She kept complaining at the start of the day that she wasn't going to get a turn on the computer all day, lol, as soon as I unwrapped all my presents she ran to install the Sims 2 pets, I think she bought it for her own enjoyment as much as for mine, lol. Anyway so me and Kat alternated playing the sims and then mum came home and katharine went to work and then Dad came home... and theen my neighbour came over with a birthday card and we talked about nintendo Wiis because Rachel told me heaps about them and then I told him and he decided he really really wanted one. Anyway, then Grandma and Granpa came over and they gave me a thingy with makeup-y stuff in it.. It's hard to describe. They also gave me money. I think grandma gets us little presents so we have something to unwrap and she gives us money too so we can pick stuff. Then Grandma and Granpa left and my Aunt and Uncle came with my two younger cousins Jarred is six and I don't remeber Ryans age but he's younger... He is probably 3 or 4. They gave me a 'make your own lip gloss kit', my Auntie said she wanted to give me somethng novel. It looked pretty cool. So I ended up entertaining Jarred and Ryan, Ryan is alot quieter than Jarred, and easier to entertain. You don't really need to entertain him at all he would be perfectly happy to sit and be quiet. Jarred isn't happy unless he's doing something and getting attention. Usually he wants to play the Xbox but I told him it was broken, and I wasn't even lying this time - entierly... One of the controlers isn't working properly coz the wire is broken. I also tricked Jarred and Ryan into thinking a dragon lived in my mum and dad's bedroom. Jarred was running around and was going to go into my parent's room, I told him not to go in there because "that's where the dragon lives.". Jarred was really cute he looked at the door curiously and cautiously and told me that there was no such thing as dragons. I told him to keep his voice down so that he didn't wake it up, he kept his voice down. After a while of me telling him sbout the dragon he went and asked my parents if there was a dragon in the room. Then me and Jarred drew christmassy pictures while Ryan drew something that looked like a diagram of a cell. Jarred drew a christmas tree and santa and a reindeer. I drew a Santa, and it was pretty good if I do say so myself. He said my santa looked angry/surprised. So he drew a speech bubble and wrote, "Ho ho ho, I see some nayte ppl." To explain why he looked angry/surprised. Then I drew a reindeer and Jarred really liked it so he tried to copy it. Then he decided his copy wasn't very good and made me draw him a reindeer to colour in. Dad went and got Mc Donalds for us to eat for dinner. Jarred got really annoying and kept trying to steal my milkshake a fries. Luckily I had the advantage of height. I had to pour some of my milkshake into a cup for him because his parents never really taught him the definition of the word 'no' and he wanted some. He started getting really annoying because my dad wanted a drink, so I poured him one and I turned around for two seconds to put the bottle back into the fridge and when I turned around again there was Jarred trying to drink dad's drink. So then I had to pour Jarred a drink, even though he already had one because I had given him some of my milkshake. Dad hadleft fries on the bench, and Jarred kept shoveling handfuls of those into his moouth. I thought his reindeer looked pretty good, but he didn't like it because he had drawn it too small.... Anyway, later we went in the spa and then later they went home. Then me and dad watched an episode of Stargate. Then I went to bed because I was tired. Dad was shocked that I had only wanted to watch one episode coz usually we watch a few in a row. We didn't have time to have cake coz everyone kept coming over and we had only bought a small one. I didn't even realise we hadn't had cake untill the next day.
22nd of December: Me and katharine went shopping, I spent around $50 and bought three tops. It took us an hour to get to Chapel street, which is where we went. Katharine told me that mum felt bad that we didn't get to have cake and aslo that we had had Mc Dom=nalds instead of my requested birthday meal. (She had asked me what I wanted for tea and I said, 'those wrap thingies.', she knew what I meant). Anyway, so we had cake and my 'wrap thingies' the day after my birthday instead.
So it was pretty cool, it was like my birthday was sprad out over three days lol. And thus I officially conclude my longest ever journal entry. I'm gonna go play the Sims now!
